Hi, I’m Dearbhla.
(Pronounced Derv-la - yes, one of those impossibly hard-to-spell Gaelic names 😅.) I’m a psychology- and marketing-trained entrepreneur with a background in event production, from live events to virtual summits. I’ve spent over a decade building my own business through strategic self-marketing.

How long does this take?

Will speakers actually say yes?
Some will and some won't, and that's normal. The Playbook shows you who to approach first, gives you outreach templates, and includes a tracker to keep every reply in one place.
Do I have to interview the speakers myself?
Interviewing the speakers yourself is ideal, and I really encourage it. It keeps you front and center as the face of your summit, and the Playbook includes tips on how to approach interviewing. If you're truly not comfortable, there's a strategy for having speakers submit presentations instead, while you still stay prominent as the host throughout.
Do I need a big list or audience already?
No. I started my first summit with an email list of zero. Your results will depend on your topic, speakers, promotion and execution.
Do I need to be techy?
